This month my Aunt and I have been out walking and when we’re done walking we have a lovely lunch out, then we have a little wander of shops. Consequently, August has been a spend month.
I cannot begrudge any of it, because this is my Aunt who had cancer a couple of years ago. These moments I get to spend with her I value so highly. Sometimes you have to put your life goals on hold and enjoy the now.
September will also be a spend month due to our Canberra trip. I’m planning to finish the year strong, though, with an epic October, November and December of no spending. This does mean I need to plan ahead a little for things like Christmas, but I already know what I want to get for people.
What lovely scenery to walk through!
So glad you’re able to enjoy the now with your aunt. Very special moments that you’ll remember forever.
You’ll be in Canberra when Floriade will be running? We enjoyed it a few years ago.
Beautiful photos, and yes, you have to enjoy the now! It’s what we’ve got.
